Let’s make your dream garden a reality!
We build deluxe and standard garden boxes in three regular sizes: 3’x5’, 4’x4’ and 4’x8’. Deluxe raised beds have 4”mitered top trim and 3”corner trim and are 16”tall. Perfect to sit on! Standard raised beds do not have trim and are sold in layers filled with super soil. Lastly, we build in ground garden by bringing in screened compost/top soil.
DELUXE RAISED BED GARDENS
We do all the hard work, so you can plant a backyard garden!
Plants that grow very well in Vermont!
Kale ( redbor & winterbor), Cauliflower, Broccoli, Red Cabbage, Lettuce, Spicy Mesclun, Beets, Carrots, Celery, Swiss Chard, Green Onions, Basil, Parsley, Thyme, Lemon Balm, Thai Basil, Radish, Marigolds, Petunias and Pansy. This pair of deluxe 4’x8’ raised beds have a chipped woody mulch walkway. Woody mulch works great in a heavy clay soil base and we design gardens with three foot walkways between beds.
STANDARD RAISED BED GARDENS
Standard raised bed gardens are simple boxes (without top trim or corner trim) and are sold in layers filled with soil. One layer boxes work for greens like lettuce, salad mixes, swiss chard, green onions especially with a good soil base.
Two layer boxes work for plants like kale, beets, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes especially with a decent soil under base.
Three layers would be best if you have rocky nasty soil that is very common in Vermont.
Plants that grow very well in the ground

Especially if the soil is well prepared with compost and plant specific amendments .
Vermont in ground gardens
This in ground garden that was built in 2020 on a sandy soil base. We brought in 16 yards of super soil and used recycled wood edging and 30 gallon fabric pots to define the beds to keep their Black Lab out of the growing areas .
This is a homestead garden was built in 2010. It had excellent loamy soil and did very well without a soil dump.
